A Brief Introduction to Earthstream

Decentralized technologies like blockchain and smart contracts give us the option to see the economy differently. Instead of the organic economies of goods and services, we now have the capacity to create virtual economic systems that exist in the metaverse and mixed economic systems that connect the real world to the virtual world in someway. It’s also easier to connect and gather data, track supply chains, and create systems of trust through technology.

So what’s Earthstream about?

Earthstream is an early stage startup focussed on sensor systems that monitor for biodiversity. Specifically, we are interested in bioacoustics and combining bioacoustics datasets with other data, including agriculture supply chain data, and creating pathways to commercialization for these datasets.

We think the idea of being able to listen to the earth, and “earthstream” is fabulous, and that’s what we’re working on…
